Cayenne Pepper Powder

Cayenne is the most commonly used chile powder in the world and may also be referred to as a finger chile, Ginnie, or bird pepper. When harvested during the warmer months, it is green but turns red as cooler weather arrives. It has a very hot, biting flavor; so season to taste. Cayenne is a key ingredient in spreads, dips, sauces (enchilada and buffalo wing), and marinades.
