Cinnamon Stick - True Ceylon
Cinnamon and cassia (a relative that is commonly mistaken for true cinnamon) are common spices consisting of dried, cured tree bark. Originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and India, this true cinnamon has a smooth citrus flavor and a much softer texture than cassia. While primarily used for baking, the stick form is great for beverages such as mulled wine, coffee, tea, or cocoa.
