Lemongrass

Grown in Thailand and Malaysia, lemongrass is now fairly common throughout the world. It has a tangy flavor similar to the zest of lemon with a scallion undertone. Lemongrass provides this zest and aroma to many stir-fries, seafood, and chicken dishes, and frequents Thai and Asian cooking. Lemongrass extract is also important to many other industries.
