Onion - Minced

Grown extensively worldwide, onion is used in almost every cuisine. The onion bulb is used raw in many applications, but the dried powder, granulated, and chopped forms are much more easily stored and used in most kitchens. Chopped dried onion is good for situations when a very coarse form is preferred, such as a topping for casseroles or BBQ dry rubs.
